The D minim is most probably the original version, left in A due to distraction. To the main text we adopt the semibreve, being probably a result of Chopin's proofreading of FE (→GE,EE).

The version of A and GE is undoubtedly correct. The single-voice notation of FE (→EE3) is probably a result of a misunderstanding of the autograph's notation. The division into two voices without changing the rhythmic values is certainly a result of the revision of EE4 (similarly in bar 63).

Various rhythmic values of the elements of the A1-A octave in bars 47 and 49, marked in details in A, were not reproduced in FE (→GE,EE). Most probably, it is a result of misunderstanding of the manuscript. However, it should be emphasised that the pedalling added in a proofreading of FE makes the longer detention of the upper note a purely technical action, without any impact on sound.
