In the sources, we encounter two variants of the L.H. differing in the register and the rhythmic value of the a note on the 1st beat: it appears either as a dotted minim in the small octave in AO, AR, AK, F or as a crotchet in the great octave in AE, AG and CC. We consider the version of CX with the a-efifth on the 2nd and 3rd beats to be a patent mistake of the copyist and we add a cfor a full A major triad.
