Issues : Errors repeated in FE

b. 14

composition: Op. 28 No. 22, Prelude in G minor

b. 15-18

composition: Op. 28 No. 8, Prelude in F♯ minor

..

In A (→FC,FE) there is no  lowering f to f in the 3rd L.H. figure of each of these bars. Interestingly enough, Chopin was convinced that there was no need for an accidental here, since he crossed it out the first time (in b. 15). All naturals were added in GE and EE

b. 15

composition: Op. 2, Variations, complete

..

The  restoring b1 in the 2nd half of the bar is absent in all sources. It must be Chopin's mistake, one of his most frequent errors.

b. 16

composition: Op. 44, Polonaise in F♯ minor

..

In the main text we include the naturals before the penultimate R.H. octave (d3-d4) present in GE and EE. The absence of those accidentals in FE suggests that they were not included in the manuscripts and that the revisers of EE and GE added them while correcting an overlooked cancellation of alteration (typical of Chopin).
